FedEx

Problem

FedEx came to Rogers with a problem that needed a big picture solution – they needed to install block heaters, which are used in cold climates to warm an engine prior to starting, at a number of their locations. We were able to review the customers needs and provide them with a cost effective solution to bring power to the engine block heaters to ensure the efficiency of commerce.

Solution

While mostly self-performing (only subcontracting for 1 or 2 sites), Rogers poured concrete footings for THD’s block heater outlets, ran conduit from each power source to the block-heater outlet locations, wired the conduit for the receptacles, tested to assure proper operation when wiring was completed, painted, primed, and repaired each block heater outlet space. Our team of technicians completed these jobs all while working with the customer’s time frame to ensure minimal impact on daily operations of the facility.
