RaceTrac began a pilot project to upgrade their locations with new and improved coffee and kitchen equipment. The goal was to provide a cleaner, more customer-friendly experience while lowering spoilage, streamlining efficiencies, and improving the product. RaceTrac chose Rogers to work with them as they did a soft release across a handful of stores in the southeast. Rogers was chosen because of the ability to act as a general contractor, with the power to facilitate the manpower, logistics, and management of the electrical portion.
Rogers worked with the RaceTrac project team to organize all trades, equipment delivery, management of vendors, and execution. Rogers was able to replace mill work and countertops, demo existing electrical and plumbing, run new circuits, water lines, and drainage for the additional equipment, and paint and patch and replace all ceiling tiles as needed for each store. Old equipment was removed and disposed of or recycled. Rogers kept a strict schedule, completing each site in just under two days. Little to no site returns or rescheduling was required across the entire project. In total, Rogers was able to complete over 1,000 sites across four states in the southeast, from pilot placement to the end of the mass-store install.
