#EmployeeSpotlight George Pelletier

We are so grateful for incredible work from technicians like George Pelletier, this week’s Employee Spotlight. George’s dedication to Rogers Electric and hard work does not go unnoticed as he consistently puts in the work to be successful. For this week’s Thankful Thursday, George’s Manager has dedicated his spotlight to highlighting two specific Rogers Core Value that George embodies: Driven and Empowered. Here’s what George’s manager Philip Wathen had to say about his exceeding work with Rogers.

When one of our current projects cranked up in Florida last month, our client required that we run dedicated circuits instead of tapping off of existing power. We had a handful of failed attempts right out the gate so we had to pause schedule dates for the rest of the week. We worked with George to come up with a game plan for best practices of running a new circuit.

Our client has a unique layout where most of the power is fed under the slab and there are cross braces between the studs of the wall making it difficult to fish down. George was able to locate a junction box above the drop ceiling outside of the manager’s office with (2) spare circuits in it. (Electrical room is the complete opposite side of the store). By doing this, he was able to utilize one of these circuits and only have to extend power roughly 20’ to get power in the correct location for our client. I was able to share this information with the rest of the techs because 80% of the store layouts are built the same. This cut our labor time in half and were able to complete in less time than what was quoted to the customer.

Thank you for all of your hard work and congratulations on your spotlight, George! We wish you the best out in the field, and hope you stay safe and healthy. For George’s spotlight, he shared with us a photo of him and his family. See below!
