Thankful Thursday: Summer Intern Edition!
Thankful Thursday is back this week with a special Intern Edition! In honor of our spectacular group of summer interns, we’d like to take the next few weeks to honor them and all of the great things they’re working on this summer at Rogers. In case you’ve missed the last few blog posts, Rogers has decided to implement a weekly #thankfulthursday to show appreciation for all that we have to be thankful for throughout the year.
Although we have been highlighting our techs with our Rogers Spotlights, it’s time to give our awesome interns some appreciation for the next couple of weeks.
In this week’s installment, we would like to welcome one of our new and already hardworking HR interns, Brandi Richards.
Brandi is currently a student at University of North Georgia Dahlonega. Brandi is expected to graduate in the spring of 2019 with a degree in Management. I sat down with Brandi last week to get some insight to her interest in Rogers and what she’s most looking forward to this summer as a member of our HR team.
Brandi, what peaked your interest in Rogers?
“I’m interested in Rogers because it is family owned and the core values seem toe be genuine, which is unlike most companies these days.”
What are you most excited to learn at Rogers this summer?
“The entire behind the scenes process of hiring employees.”
What are your summer goals within your role at Rogers?
“To become better at screening potential employees and to build relationships with my co-workers.”
We can’t wait to see you accomplish all of these things! Congratulations on your spotlight Brandi, you more than deserve it and we’re excited to see all of the great things you accomplish with Rogers.
We’re proud to have you as a new member of the Rogers Family!
